Centered in the Saddle

My sister and brother-in-law are happily expecting their first child this fall, and I’m excitedly anticipating being a first-time aunt! Of course, that means lots of shopping to do before the baby arrives – and obviously some horse-related items will be making their way into the wardrobe from Auntie Lisa (duh). The problem is, I can’t find anything that I think is that cute! The problem is that there doesn’t seem to be that much in terms of onesies, etc., and what I can find is either girly or, frankly, ugly. And you know that this little man is going to be stylish.

Here are a few pretty cute possibilities I found:

The Keep Calm and Curry On onesie is pretty cute and clever. The little rubber ducky horses are too adorable! They will be perfect for when the little man is big enough to splash around in the tub. And that Tubbie Hooded Towel is precious. I can just imagine the little guy all wrapped up after bath time. Sadly, it’s $50 on Amazon! What the heck! I don’t want to break the bank on one thing – there’s way too much other stuff I want to get for my nephew!

Does anyone have recommendations for good horse-related baby items? (Maybe some pint-sized cowboy boots?…I’m practically squealing just thinking about how adorable that would be!) I don’t really want anything too corny or cartoonish, which is where the challenge comes in. Please help – I need advice!
