Definitely needed tissues for that!! I volunteered one summer at a therapeutic riding center, and I have never been more amazed by any horses. There’s something amazing about the way those horses instinctively take care of people that they know need their help (even while quietly messing with most of the volunteers!)
If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend volunteering some of your time at one of these facilities.

Growing up, I would volunteer to help with the special needs classes at the barn – I should definitely find a place to get involved with it again!
