Centered in the Saddle

The last two weeks I’ve been able to ride at sunset which is amazing. Here, Megan and Maisie are dressaging with the most beautiful backdrop.

I mean. What could be better?

Oh wait, I know. Last night, Megan rode Ozzie and I hopped on Duke and we headed out to the field behind the barn to ride. There’s an area that is mowed so we did our warm up there, then did a couple of gallop sets around the perimeter.

Cantering through chest high grass at sunset on a perfect summer evening?

Yeah, my childhood horse-girl dreams came true. It was awesome.
