It’s official, folks, I’m back in the saddle. The Chief and I had a lovely little ride last night. No pressure, just getting my sea legs back with some simple walk/trot/canter with circles and serpentines. We finished up with a stroll around the field and it was perfection. It felt like a homecoming.

It feels wrong to post without briefly acknowledging what is going on in the world. I have been listening, learning, reading and engaging with issues of racism in our country on a new level and will continue to do so. I encourage everyone to take some action. Writing to your local representatives, leaders and police chiefs is a great place to start. This is a list of concrete actions that has been helpful to me.
